Having established a blog, I guess I am now a commodity. Or at least, my writing is. To be consumed - if anyone really cares to do so - and critiqued. To be understood and empathised with, or to be disregarded as yet another voice in a virtual world full of virtual people shouting. I do not by any means intend to shout; please do let me know if I am. I will whisper, and hope that nobody notices. Because is there not something slightly wrong with the concept that, in today's world, you need to actively promote every aspect of your life, 24/7, to be appreciated?
As I understand it, this blog is meant to build me an image. So, what shall it be? What do I want y'all to think of me and my fledgling Onekakara Flims as? Well, people often tell me if I were an animal I would be a meercat. I didn't originally like this much, but I guess I look more like a meercat than I do...well, an alligator, for instance. Meercats are pretty inquisitive, and that's definately me...and quite comical too, which is also me - usually when I least mean to be. But Onekakara Films? What animal will my baby be? Well, I'd like to think that would similarly inquisitive, exploring new ground. I'd like it to be unpredictable - I wouldn't want my audience to second-guess an Onekakara film. And likeable. Friendly. Onekakara Films will be a domestic coloured goat. A kid, with long droopy ears and black and brown splotches all over.
