So you like icecream, huh?!

To date I have 13 votes on my poll. This, my friends, is more than double the number of votes I recieved on my last poll, and I left that up for a good three weeks. Congratulations! You're all edging closer to an icecream fest...but you're not quite there yet, so keep trying. I'd also like to point out that those of you who dislike Goody Goody Gumdrop really ought to get your voting mice clicking, or that's what will be turning up on the table somtime next week...

So we pitched. We pitched so fantastically that Craig Meade hired us all on the spot. Well, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but I'm sure it's in the pipeline, because I swear there are some fantastic film ideas out there. Personally, I pitched moths - a mission impossible against the backdrop of high country tenure review - and as I'm currently trying to work out if I can upload my powerpoint presentation for your viewing pleasure (hints, anyone?!) I won't rave on about it for hours.

Our hero Eric Edwards at the light trap.

Lepidopterist Brian Patrick and his son Hamish moth hunting.

If I can't recruit anyone to join me, I could be teaming up and making a film on anything from the Emerson's Man to an extinct baleen whale with teeth. We're meant to be teaming up before next week, but as far as I can see, everyone's just avoiding the topic completely!

What other excitment? Well, I've been duped into joining a soccer team for summer. Watch this space for the trials and tribulations that are grazed knees and bruised shins...
