Next? Greenland!
I'm travelling with the Freemason/Royal Society of New Zealand Big Science Adventures winners - my three angels from Otago Girls' High in Dunedin! We're off to make a film about climate change, and look at its impact on the worlds biggest island. In Greenlandic, it's Kalaallit Nunatt - White Earth. I can't wait!

You missed an inspiring lecture from Tim Flannery on climate - he packed out three lecture halls via a video hook-up. Calling for 80 percent carbon reductions imediately to avert global crisis - he reckons in 10 years the "switch might flip." Not all doom and gloom though, he talked of the ability of humankind to rectify environmental crises in the past - pollution in London and acid rain etc.
Question: If NZ dairy farmers are getting a billion dollar payout this year, why aren't they being made to contribute to biofuel production costs?
By the way, I see they're dairy farming on Greenland now - have a look..http://www.spiegel.de/international/spiegel/0,1518,434356,00.html
